11th grade students:
The PA School Health Law requires a physical exam for all 11th grade students. You have the opportunity to have this exam performed by your doctor before May 1st, 2024 or you can give permission for your student to see our school physician, at no cost, on April 25th, 2024. * School sports physicals meet the requirement of an 11th grade exam.
A second Meningitis shot is also mandatory for students entering 12th grade. Please make sure you have this vaccination prior to school starting next September. The school cannot administer this shot, you must see your physician. If you need any assistance getting vaccinations contact the Wyoming County Dept of Health @ 1-877-PA-HEALTH.
CLASS OF 2024
- Class Night will be Weds., June 5th
- Graduation will be Fri., June 7th (rain or shine)
- Senior Class Meetings will be held in March and April to discuss Prom, Class Night, and Graduation. Information packets will be provided to Seniors at those meetings with details on each event.
Flexible Instruction Day Information for Parents:
Please review this information with your students in order to prepare for inclement weather and the chance of Flexible Instruction Days this winter.
2024 SPRING TESTING SCHEDULE
JUNIORS AND SENIORS
The Guidance Office will be offering tours to several local colleges and universities. If you are interested in attending any of these tours, please contact the Guidance Office.
LTHS Dress Code 2023-2024
- Hoodies are permitted
- Collared shirts are not required (i.e. long/short t-shirts are permitted)
- Cutoff shirts that expose the midriff, or sides of the abdomen and underarm are prohibited (i.e. midriffs, cutoff tank tops).
- No logos, phrases, or quotes larger than 3 x 3 on any garment
- Shorts, dresses, and skirt length: 3 inches from the knee or fingertip length
- Leggings may not be worn without a skirt, shorts, or dress that is 3 inches from the knee or fingertip length
- No sweatpants or athletic pants outside of gym class
- Pajama pants are not permitted.
- No holes/rips in clothing above the knee
- All other elements of the LTSD dress code apply (see Student Handbook)
