Leanne Lombardi
Guidance Counselor
Hello! My name is Leanne Lombardi, and I have been the elementary school counselor at LTEC for the past 25 years. I also worked as a counselor for the Dallas School District for 3 years before joining the faculty at Lackawanna Trail. I received my bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology from Lock Haven University and my master’s degree in Elementary School Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Since starting at Trail, I have earned 60+ graduate credits from various accredited universities studying various topics related to counseling techniques as well academic support skills.
I am aware of the ever changing challenges that students encounter that can create stressors in their lives. To remove stressors and barriers, I believe counseling to be an essential, integral piece of the educational process. School Counselors provide a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students.
I also believe that all students have dignity and worth and have a right to a welcoming, safe, and mutually respectful learning environment. All students have the ability and right to learn and should be given the opportunity to do so. Parents, teachers, administrators, support specialists, and community providers are all valuable assets to my counseling program.
I look forward to working with your child(ren) through the elementary years. If you need assistance or support for any matter, please feel free to contact me at the school (570-945-5153) or you can email me at lombardil@ltsd.org.
Be well, be kind, be you!
