Lauren Gratz

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Lauren Gratz. I am an elementary emotional support teacher.
I have been at Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center since April 2018 in various long term substitute roles. I have been fortunate enough to be welcomed into the Trail Family as a permanent teacher in December 2019.
In 2015, I received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Bloomsburg University in the area of Speech Pathology. I went on to pursue a Master’s of Arts degree from Marywood University in the area of Early Childhood and Special Education. I graduated in 2018. Pursuing teaching has been the best decision I have made. It continually brings me so much happiness and joy. A favorite quote from a student is that “we are like a family in this class”. I come to work every day with the intention of making my students feel comfortable, supported, and to give them the tools to be successful.
