Judy Ambrose
2nd Grade
Hello and welcome! My name is Judy Ambrose, and I’ve been teaching here at the Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center for just over 25 years now. At some point, or in some capacity, I have taught in just about all grade levels here K-6, as well as co-taught a former Title I Math Program.
I received my bachelor’s degree and dual certification in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Marywood University, and my master’s degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and being with my daughter at her extracurricular activities.
My teaching philosophy has always been that students need to feel safe, secure, and comfortable in their learning environment in order to get the most benefit out of it. Learning should be fun, and all learning styles should be celebrated.
