Hello! My name is Jillian Fumanti, and I teach Junior High Chorus, Madrigal, and 7th Grade General Music. I have been teaching for 13 years, and I’ve been lucky to spend the past 4 years in the Lackawanna Trail School District. I earned a B. M. in Music Education from Marywood University and an M. M. in Music Education from Boston University. I was excited to earn my National Board Certification, an advanced teaching certification. I love teaching music in a way that intertwines music content knowledge with other subjects, such as using primary source documents to understand the historical context of a piece of music.
