Hello! My name is Erin Merkel. I am a 4th and 5th grade Learning Support teacher. I am a 2010 graduate of Marywood University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. This is my eleventh year teaching within the Lackawanna Trail School District. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University. I believe that each of my students is unique and brings something valuable to their education. It is my goal to help foster a sense of belonging in my classroom where students feel comfortable to try new things, grow from mistakes, and develop a deep love of learning.
