Danielle Dwyer

Hi! My name is Mrs. Danielle Dwyer and I am a first grade teacher here at Lackawanna Trail.  This will be my first year teaching at Trail and I am so excited to be here!  I am a 2005 graduate of College Misericordia with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  I also have a Masters of Education in Reading from King’s College.  I have 15 years of teaching experience ranging from first grade to fourth grade, reading specialist, and instructional support in the Stroudsburg Area and Valley View School Districts.  I believe in engaging students in a fun and safe learning environment where they feel comfortable to try new things and become excited about learning!

I have four children in the Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center.  I spend most of my time outside of school as a taxi driver to various activities and sporting events for my children.  We enjoy art lessons, dance, football, baseball, softball, and cheerleading!  I also have a love of cheerleading and coach the Junior Lions 7U squad and High School football cheerleaders.  GO LIONS!
