Corey Harrington
Special Education Department
Hi! My name is Corey Harrington. I will be the Emotional Support teacher at the high school for grades 7-12. This will be my 14th year as a special education teacher. I taught autistic support in the elementary setting in Scranton School District for 11 years and Life Skills in the elementary setting at Mountain View School District for 2 years. I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from East Stroudsburg University in 2008. Although life has gotten in the way at times, my goal is to still complete my masters.
I take great pride in the love and support that I show to my students and their families. I realize that as an educator I have the power to make a lasting difference in a child’s life, and I begin every day with that mindset. I truly aspire to make a difference in the lives of my students just as each and every one of my students has made a difference in my life.
